Make after school more than just a time to hang out. Use it for fun, learning, and developing new interests!
The Franke Center After School Club is a new after-school club for middle school students located in The Franke Center for the Arts downstage space. Participating students can choose to engage in self-led interest groups in areas of the arts including acting, reading, writing, music, songwriting, storytelling, poetry and more. Arts interest groups will receive the support of Franke Center staff and occasional visits from experts in their fields of interest, including professional authors, poets, musicians, artists, playwrights, theater directors, professors, and more. At the end of the year, students may choose to present their work at a showcase event at The Franke.
Dates are flexible to fit families’ ever-changing schedules, and scholarships for financial need will be considered upon request.
