The Franke Center is a centerpiece of the nationally recognized Historic Landmark District in Marshall, Michigan. Dating from 1921, our facility offers world-class concerts, youth theater shows, and educational opportunities in a rich, historical setting offering handicapped-accessible entryways and seating. The Franke is a 260-seat auditorium with a balcony. 27′ wide semi-thrust stage with 11′ wide left and right portals. The theater is adorned with magnificent stained glass windows and ceiling dome, rich velvety drapes, comfortable seating, and outstanding acoustics.
Collins Fireside Room
The Collins Fireside Room, a beautifully decorated 400 square foot room adjacent to the auditorium and home to our Steinway baby grand piano. The Fireside Room also serves as a private meeting space for smaller groups.
The banquet room is perfect for small or large gatherings. A buffet serving room with a fireplace adds the perfect atmosphere to your business lunch or dinner or special event.
- The Downstage Club can be used for standing-room reception space holding up to 250 guests or as a dining room accommodating up to 128 guests at tables
- A full-service kitchen is available for guests to bring in prepared food
- The room includes a small stage. A sound system and video projection are available upon request.
- Our Downstage Club offers display cases for artists to display their work in a revolving exhibition
Executive Board Room / Green Room
This room holds a large conference table with seating for 18 people, and a smaller conference table seating 12 people. The kitchenette is conveniently located in the room to provide light refreshments and drinks during any meeting. The green room is equipped with Hollywood-style mirrors and make-up lights, the perfect space for stars preparing to take the stage or brides getting ready for their special day!
